All you need to know about Ovida

  • Ovida is currently only available in English. Given that our team is deeply multilingual and multi-national, adding multilingual capability is something we're aiming to introduce as a top priority. It's important to us that we maintain our exceptional levels of insight as we roll our new languages, so it's a process we are undertaking deliberately and therefore a little more slowly than we'd like. If you are looking to use Ovida in a language besides English, and want to help bump your preferred language up the priority list, please drop us a message using the chat feature at the bottom right of your screen.

  • It is. The fourth person to join our team was our Data Compliance Officer. We take this stuff seriously. Our core business is trust. 

    Coaches, counsellors, leading universities and Fortune 500 companies all use Ovida to assess and improve communication skills in sensitive environments and with confidential conversations. We comply with GDPR (the strictest data privacy regulation in the world) and are constantly striving to provide the most secure space for sensitive conversations.

  • For the foreseeable future, we do not analyse uploaded recordings, and instead work only with video recorded on our own platform, for two reasons: 

    • Privacy and GDPR compliance concerns - We do not believe that software platforms can reliably comply with GDPR for uploaded videos.

    • Data quality and analytics - The analytics we do require hyper-accurate transcripts, and these can only be generated off of the specifically high quality recordings we generate on Ovida video rooms.

  • We use AI ethically to help people improve communication by enhancing self-awareness and developing essential skills such as listening, asking questions, and building trust. Ultimately, our goal is to strengthen human connections. Ovida records your meetings and delivers AI-driven, objective, and non-judgmental insights, giving you the opportunity to engage in meaningful self-reflection and deliberate practice.

    • Meeting video - contains segments of your meeting that you chose to record. Any parts where you pressed "pause" won't be included, as they weren't analyzed. 

    • Transcript - with almost 100% accurate diarisation (who talks when). 

    • Share of voice timeline - clear visualization of who spoke and when.

    • Metrics - share of voice, question rate, open question ratio, questions vs.statements, host and guest interruption rate.

    • Moments - central to what we do at Ovida. When our AI identifies a pattern that a skilled human observer would recognise as a moment, we tag it, and share it back to you. 

    • AI summary - objective, complete representation of what took place in the meeting. 

    • AI actions - all agreed actions during your meeting.

    • AI lens - moments when you've demonstrated key ICF competencies and concrete evidence to support your application. Note: Access to the AI lens is granted by request.

    • Notes - create your own private notes directly from the meeting interface.

    • Feedback - intended for comprehensive feedback visible to all participants. Your guests, mentors, supervisors, and observers can offer feedback here.

    • Practices - practice what you would like to do better next time and see yourself doing it.

    • Download - download the transcript, audio and video files.
