Find the session you want faster with improved filters and navigation

Many of our users are already building large portfolios of sessions. Reviewers, trainers and mentors in particular can have tens of coaches they are working with, and hundreds of sessions. With that scale comes the challenge of hunting down the exact session you were after.

To ease this process, we have improved the layout of the Sessions page for a cleaner, simpler look.

We have also added powerful new filters:

  • Search by name or email allows you to search for “Jane” or “jane@gmail.com”, and will return every session that Jane is connected to - as a client, coach, or reviewer.

  • Search by date allows you to hunt down those sessions from “last December” quickly and easily.

New Feature! Edit and delete your comments when reviewing moments

Users don’t always nail their comments the first time around, and the ability to edit or delete a comment can be critically important. As of this month, authors can edit or delete any of their comments. You can find out more here.

A dedicated space for session feedback

One of the most requested features in recent months has been “please give us a space where we can give detailed feedback for the session as a whole.” Often followed by “and we need tables, headings, and rich text!”.

The feedback tab is that space. A simple rich tech editor, it is conveniently positioned below the video, and to the left of the transcript, allowing you to build your feedback document from a single screen. Conveniently, you can flip between the feedback and other tabs without losing your draft, making it easy to find the key moments, and then give document them in the feeback tab.

The feedback tab is visible to to the coach and reviewers in “review mode” and also to the client in “train mode”, making it the perfect place to spread the value of feedback in training sessions. You can learn more here.

Track you progress with rolling averages on all your dashboard metrics

We’re all in this to work on some element of our personal performance. Whether that be mastering the skill of consciously moderating our share of talk time, or learning to ask more open-ended questions, we all have skills that we could benefit from actively working on. With rolling averages across your sessions, you can now track and share your performance against key communication metrics. We are constantly expanding our metric set, so keep an eye out for new metrics coming soon.

Add moments directly from the transcript

A lot of users are taking advantage of Ovida’s unique synschronised video / analytics / transcript view to deliver faster and more targeted feedback, and are focused on the transcript as the primary navigation tool. With that in mind, users can now add a moment direct from the transcript, with a simple “add moment” button.

No more scrolling the video back and forth to find the right moment - create it on exactly the text that matters to you, with a single click.
